I tried to make resolutions for 2011. I came up with many great ideas, lots of goals I would like to attain, and even adopted some good resolution ideas from other people. They include many practical things like using my coupons more efficiently, being more diligent on a budget, remembering more birthdays before they actually arrive, and losing a couple….ok more like 15…lbs, drink a few less cups of coffee.

The truth is, I won’t keep them all (as noted in above photo), but I do love making them.I love fresh beginnings. I love erasing the chalkboard and making it ready for something new and energizing. I am sure I have already snuck in a latte I didn’t need (again…the photo), missed a key savings in the coupon game, perhaps even packed on an extra pound that I tried to fervently run off at Planet Fitness this morning. I am not defeated though because the point isn’t how many times I’ve fallen off the wagon of New Year’s diligence. Frankly, I fall off a lot. The point is the fresh fire, the full tank of fuel I get at the start of something new.
Hopefully this will explain why if you have visited this website in the past month it looked quite new and improved, yet was lacking may pieces. The “new and improved” is credited to the ridiculous talent of Corin Larraga. The “lacking many pieces” is credited only to yours truly. I hope to make good on this resolution and get all the pieces in place soon so that you have a fantastic place to check out the newest Richest Wine photo journeys, get inspired, read my ramblings from this crazy-wonderful-sometimes confusing-super-blessed life adventure, and hey, maybe even book a wedding or photoshoot.
So raise your cup of Starbucks high on 1.11.11 to new beginnings, fresh perspectives, new adventures, renewed vision, and most of all……new websites!
